| GigaPlus structured wiring systems comprising, GigaPlus cables, patch cords and connectivity are designed to be compliant with the current sets of Class D / Category 5e published standards requirements as an absolute minimum. The systems support all protocols defined in current editions, and amendments, of ISO 11801 :2002, ANSI TIA/EIA 568B.2 :2002 and EN50173-1-1 :2002 (including IEEE802.3ab Gigabit Ethernet) and are fully backward compatible. GigaPlus is a premium grade cabling system which is characterised to 200MHz and its performance significantly exceeds the requirements specified in the current versions of the published standards for Class D / Category 5e. |

Category 6 / Class E

The systems support all protocols defined in current editions, and amendments, of ISO 11801:2002, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B.2.1 :2002 and EN50173-1:2002 (including IEEE802.3ab Gigabit Ethernet) and are fully backward compatible. Cat6Plus is a premium grade cabling system which is characterised to 550MHz and its performance significantly exceeds the requirements specified in the current versions of the published and draft standards for Class E / Category 6. |
| Category 7 / Class F |
| Cat7MediaPlus exceeds the Category 7 requirements of ISO/IEC 11801 :2002 and EN 50173-1 :2002. backed up by third party independent certificates of compliance that are available from 3P Inc. It provides a foundation for supporting high bandwidth demanding applications. Individual and overall shielding provides outstanding EMI/RFI protection. As with all Brnad-Rex products Cat7MediaPlus is backwards compatible. |
